Cheryl Niedzwiecki is currently the Hospitality Tourism Management Instructor and DECA advisor at Stafford Technical Center. She is also the Program Instructor for the new International Business Program.
Cheryl’s credentials include Certified Hospitality Instructor through the American Hotel and Lodging Association, Certified Chef de Cuisine through the American Culinary Federation, National Retail Federation Customer Service Assessment Proctor, Certified National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship Instructor, and certified ServSafe Instructor through the National Restaurant Association.
Cheryl began her career in the foodservice industry in 1983 and has held positions at the Sheraton Tara Hotel in Parsippany, NJ, various Vermont restaurants and bakeries, and was the kitchen supervisor at a Vermont health care facility. She was also the Executive Chef at Green Mountain Fox Run in Ludlow, Vermont. In 1998, she took the position as Assistant Instructor of Culinary Arts at Stafford Technical Center. After two years, Cheryl became the Vermont ACF Apprenticeship Coordinator for post-secondary chef apprenticeship training. In 2000 Cheryl earned her Vermont teacher’s license and educates students through the Hospitality and Tourism Management Academy at Stafford Technical Center.
Cheryl also owns her own business specializing in wedding cakes, the Humble Baker. Cheryl has also taught various adult education classes through Vermont Technical College.
She enjoys learning and practicing Feng Shui, Tibetan traditions, running, and going to cat shows. She is married, has two children, and lives in Wallingford, Vermont.
